Community

Our community engagement provision is dedicated to fostering creativity and connection among people of all ages and abilities. Through outreach initiatives, gallery visits, and bespoke projects, we offer a wide range of opportunities designed to engage and inspire.

From single workshops to longer-term collaborations, our programs explore diverse themes such as heritage, disability, LGBTQ+ experiences, wellbeing, and the challenges faced by refugees, asylum seekers, and those experiencing displacement. We also focus on mental health, using photography as a powerful tool for expression and healing. By working with our gallery, community members can explore their creativity, share their stories, and connect with others in meaningful ways.

Standard outreach workshops provision:

  • Photowalks

  • Cyanotypes

  • Zine Making

  • Photo Editing

  • Photo Montage

  • Investigating photographs - visual literacy

Bespoke projects, workshops  and gallery visits available through consultation - just ask for an initial meeting to discuss ideas.
