Ffotogallery, Wales’ national agency for photography, seeks a Chair - or Co-Chairs - to lead its Board, as well as Trustees, dedicated to the long term success of the organisation.

Time commitments vary depending on role. All Trustee roles are unpaid, although expenses can be covered for attending meetings.

CHAIR

DEADLINE - Friday 30th May, 5pm

Ffotogallery, Wales’ national agency for photography, seeks a Chair - or Co-Chairs - to lead its Board. This voluntary role involves strategic oversight, governance, advocacy, and financial stewardship. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, a passion for the arts, strong networking skills, and a commitment to supporting photography and visual culture in Wales.

Ffotogallery’s Board of Trustees is led by the Chair. Trustees play an important role in ensuring good governance for the organisation, as well as being ambassadors for the work of the organisation and for photography in Wales. The Chair plays a pivotal role in guiding the organisation's strategic direction and ensuring its mission is effectively carried out.

The ideal candidate(s) will have strong governance and strategic planning skills, with experience in leadership, financial oversight, and risk management. They should be a visionary thinker, able to guide the organisation’s direction while ensuring compliance and sustainability.

Total time commitment is approximately 1 day per month.

TRUSTEE

DEADLINE - Friday 30th May, 5pm

Ffotogallery is seeking new trustees to join our board. We’re looking for people who will bring their own unique skills, passion and experiences to a leading visual arts organisation in Wales and in doing so, help us expand the range of perspectives and advice available to the organisation.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who will be able to contribute to the long term success of Ffotogallery. Board members will be required to attend up to five board meetings per year - a mix of in person and online meetings - and an annual Away Day, as well as attend various exhibition openings, events and festivals. You will also be willing to offer your advice and input at key stages throughout the year.

Total time commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per year.
