We warmly invite you to join us on Saturday 23 November for a walk and talk around our current exhibition Darnau | Fragments with photographer Marian Delyth. With a career spanning over five decades, Marian will be sharing some insight into the various bodies of work included in the show.

Darnau | Fragments is a major solo survey exhibition of the work of Marian Delyth at Ffotogallery, highlighting Delyth’s photographic journey over the past 50 years, documenting the life and culture of Wales with unparalleled dedication.

Working as a photographer and graphic designer from her studio in Blaenplwyf, near Aberystwyth, Delyth has tirelessly celebrated communities across Wales by documenting causes for social and climate justice that impact society both locally and globally. Her work, rooted in the documentary tradition, communicates powerful narratives of the people and places that advocate for justice for language, land and liberation.

We’re delighted to be hosting this event as part of the winter edition of EAST’s Roath Gallery Weekend (RGW). The RGW, which runs 22 - 24 November, will see a varied, vibrant and seasonal programme - with late night openings and special events scheduled throughout the weekend. For the full programme of events follow @__________EAST on Instagram or pop in to any of the 8 participation galleries to pick up a hard-copy programme.
