We warmly invite you to join us on Saturday 23 November for a walk and talk around our current exhibition Darnau | Fragments with photographer Marian Delyth.

Dr Natasha Hirst will lead a discussion on disability representation in photography and how images shape narratives about minoritised communities.

Featuring an informal talk and a creative writing workshop, this session will give participants an opportunity to explore and practise feminist ways of seeing, thinking, and writing about photographs.

Foto Féminas artists Luiza Konz, Julieta Anaut and Lorena Marchetti will be discussing their practice and their experience in the Foto Féminas collective.

This is a pivotal moment for our sector to come together, share ideas, and forge partnerships that will shape a sustainable future for Wales.

In what is bound to be a fascinating evening, our panellists will be discussing how art practice can be employed as an effective agent for activism to address the current climate emergency.

In conjunction with the exhibition Alteration, this symposium Unmasking the Past provides an extended analysis of the archival activation each artist employed in the production of their work by examining the themes of colonialism, identity, citizenship, and non-citizenship in contemporary times.

Ffotogallery's bi-annual Photo Book Fair is taking place on Saturday 21 October!

Join us on Thursday 7 September for a discussion about the barriers facing young disabled artists. BSL interpretation is provided for this event.

The session is suitable for all ages and abilities, whether you want to try something new or are looking for an excuse to practise your drawing skills.

For the first time at Ffotogallery, members of the public are invited to visit the gallery while the exhibition is being installed.
