Sustainable Photography Darkroom Workshops

The workshops will explore mixing your own chemicals to process silver prints. mixing developer and fixer. Using different organic compounds to explore the printing process, all will be done under red light conditions in a darkroom.During the workshop we will create photograms using different objects, both natural and manmade. (all provided)

The workshop is open to all aged over 9, children need to be accompanied by a parent/carer.

Daniel Staveley is an experimental analogue photographer working in the darkroom, creating black and white images using recycled water, and a variety of nonharmful chemicals to create abstract and digitally printed images.

There will also be live music all weekend throughout the days into the evenings as part of the Swansea Fringe Festival.
