Board Recruitment at Ffotogallery

Ffotogallery is seeking new trustees to join our board. We’re looking for people who will bring their own unique skills, passion and experiences to a leading visual arts organisation in Wales and in doing so, help us expand the range of perspectives and advice available to the organisation.

Trustees play an important role in ensuring good governance for the organisation, as well as being ambassadors for the work of the organisation and for photography in Wales. Board members will be required to attend up to five board meetings per year - a mix of in person and online meetings - and an annual Away Day, as well as attend various exhibition openings, events and festivals. You will also be willing to offer your advice and input at key stages throughout the year.

Ffotogallery is seeking to build a diverse Board of Trustees that reflects the communities in which it works. We welcome applications from individuals from all backgrounds and would particularly encourage applications from young, disabled or global majority candidates.

We would also be particularly interested in individuals with skills and experience in the following areas;

• Photography

• Visual Arts

• Fundraising

• Business

• Governance

• Digital economy

• Education
